PHILIP FAUST

Philip Lebs Faust and Magdalena Albright
 

Philip Faust was born in 1748 in Bern Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.  He married Susanna Moyer. 

Philip Faust fought in the American Revolution.  He is listed in the Pennsylvania Archives, 6th Series, Vol. III, page 86, under the Upper Company of the Bern Township of Berks County Militia, 7th Class, led by Colonel Gehr in May 1784, according to descendent Donna Weiler . 

Philip Faust died 4 September 1831, in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.²¹  
Child of Philip Faust and Susanna Moyer:

1.  Maria Elizabeth Faust was born 7 August 1785.  She married Johannes Seltzer.  Maria died 3 August 1855, and Johannes Seltzer died 4 August 1854.  They are both buried in Dresherville Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
