DANIEL FAUST

 son of Jacob Faust and Elizabeth Kieffer

Daniel Faust was born 23 July 1798.  He died June 10, 1878 at age 79 years, 10 months, 18 days. He married Elizabeth Fegley on March 12, 1824. Elizabeth was born 21 February 1806; she died 16 December 1880. Daniel and Elizabeth are buried at Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, PA

This Daniel Faust was the second owner of the large Faust homestead near Zion's Red Church and the operator of Faust's Mill after 1842.

Issue:
1. Daniel Emanuel Faust was born 29 January 1825.  He married Lydia Heiser on April 3, 1855.  His family is covered in a separate section of this web site as it is his line that this genealogy follows. 

2. Henry Faust was born 28 October 1827; d. Oct. 3, 1890, buried Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.  

3. Elizabeth Faust was born 16 July 1829; d. Sept. 15, 1859
m. Jacob Hoy on Apr. 12, 1851. Jacob was born 3 December 1823; d. Dec. 26, 1890

4. Charles William Faust was born 28 April 1831
m. Emme Teter
and had two other wives as well

5. Joseph Faust was born 30 July 1833; d. 16 April 1866, buried Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, PA

6. Sarah Faust was born 15 March 1835; d. Nov. 12, 1916
m. Thomas Hoy son of Henry & Elizabeth Wiltraut on 2 September 1854. Thomas was born 5 February 1833; d. 19 August 1899.

7. Jacob Faust b. May 5, 1838 d. 21 May 1915, buried Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, PA
m. Annetta Moll b. 27 November 1851 d. 16 May 1911, buried Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. 


1. Infant daughter died 31 August 1871 at age 1 day.  She was buried at Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. 

2. A daughter was born 24 April 1872.  She died in 1876 at age 4 years, 2 months, 14 days.  She was buried at Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. 

3. Harrington Faust was born about 1880.  He died 16 July 1898, at age 17 years, 11 months, 21 days, and was buried at Zion's Red Church, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
